Haven't been here for a while..

Well, since the last time I have posted there have been quite a few developments: PA recognition in the UN General Assembly, a war in the Gaza Strip, and a lot more (writing this at close to 2 AM). So, hopefully I will be a little less right-wing and more centered in the argument between the 2 peoples. Please follow and spread this blog! Phil

Going Home in 9 days!

Wow. Going "home" in 9 days. As much as I love the USA, the people, the feeling of being free, there is no better feeling greater than the feeling that I will be returning to the ONLY Jewish state in the world. I will be walking on the lands that my grandparents, and my grandparents' grandparents would have dreamed to walk. I will be walking on the same ground that the forefathers walked, and the grounds that were given to the Jewish people to form a state. I will be going home where every Jew should go visit. In all honesty, in Israel I feel much safer walking around in the dead of night then I would in Philly. The air. The wind. The sea. Everything is just insanely gorgeous!
I believe this picture I took about 3 years ago? It is overlooking the Kinneret aka Sea of Galilee. How can one deny the beauty of this country? The holiness of this country. The preciousness of this country? And the whole world wants us to give it up to a whole bunch of fanatics who would more then likely destroy the beauty!?!?!

Jerusalem- The Center of the Fight

Jerusalem- In the news every day, one hears this word. What is Jerusalem? To the Jews it is the very start of the existence of mankind. It is the core of Judaism. Without Jerusalem, what Judaism is there? The word "Jerusalem" is mentioned 622 times in the whole Torah. Is it alluded to many more times in the Torah. Guess how many times it is mentioned in the Quran..Ready for this? Zero...0...Zilch. Yes, Jerusalem is non existent in the realm of the Quran, yet one of the very claims of the Palis is that Jerusalem also be the capital of a Palestinian State. Why would they want a city that is never mentioned in their book as their capital? They just like to make a hustle bustle about everything. More to come.

Israel- The Basic Meaning to the Jews

Israel-What's the first thing that comes to your mind?
Terrorist country.
Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Hezbollah.
Hamas.
The looming Iranian threat of wiping Israel off the map.
Many people do not know WHAT Israel really is. Yes, to many it may seem like a "burden" to the world, and is used as the scapegoat of all wars and troubles today in the Middle East.
What is Israel really? This blog will help you to understand exactly what Israel really is, from the viewpoint of a Jew, and furthermore- an Orthodox, Torah-observant Jew. Yes, I am right-wing. Yes, I do believe in ONE state, and yes I do fight for Israel's right to exist. There are tens of Muslim states. Number of Jewish states: 1.
The most basic meaning of Israel is: a land promised by G-d to Abraham be given to the Jews- Abraham's descendants. In Genesis Chapter 25: Verse 18: On that day, the Lord formed a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt until the great river, the Euphrates river. This was the covenant made between G-d and Abraham. The Jews were promised this land (a land larger than today's Israel).
I guess I will include even the Quran's viewpoint on the Land of Israel and the Jews:
The Quran says: "O my people, enter the holy land that GOD has decreed for you, and do not rebel, lest you become losers." This was Moses, talking to the Jewish Nation. The QURAN says this. Yes, yes- the book of the Muslims.
The book of the people who want to eradicate tiny, tiny Israel. Us, Jews, have every single right to this land.
The Palis do not.
